FSD drive on challenging Dutch dike roads with narrow passages, blind corners, and water on both sides. Car handled multiple cyclists, pedestrians, and tight passing situations well. Two minor interventions where driver accelerated to help with cyclist overtaking and narrow road standoff. Speed offset set to 10% and contextual maximum speed enabled.
I was invited by the @TeslaOwnersClubNL to the official opening of the new Amsterdam HQ and to celebrates FSD together with the @Tesla AI team. And of course, being in The Netherlands, I had to take another FSD drive. This time, Peter Van Dam (@pvandamcom, also on X) graciously allowed me to get behind the yoke in his own Model S and we found a very challenging route along the Dutch dikes with very narrow roads, lots of blind corners and many surprises in the form cars, tractors, cyclist, pedestrians etc. It is not the city center, but I believe even more diverse situations to tackle, where we did come across several areas of improvement.
We drove for 2.5 hours so I've split it up into sizeable sections. Grab the popcorn and enjoy! Because this is the worst that FSD will ever be. It will only get better after this!
